More Watercolors
Here's a couple more watercolors. The apples & pitcher was a class assignment. The fish paintings were done as homework to demonstrate different techniques (clockwise from upper left: salt, alcohol, masking fluid, spatter). I think watercolor is really effective in portraying water (duh), so I really like the way the fish turned out.

WOW! love the fish! Fantastic. I might commission you to do some for me for our new house. I am having a hard time deciding what your forte is - sketching or watercolors. I know you are more proficient at sketching, but I have a personal preference for WC.
Haha. I will probably bring my watercolors to India, since they are much more portable than oils and are very useful for sketches. Hopefully by then I'll be producing stuff that's keepable.
I like the discus and goldfish. They looked very fluid and flow-ey(is there such word?). I do think you are very good with watercolors. Keep up the good work, Ryan.
